God is the source of all grace to shape our lives

Read God's Word: 1 Peter 5:10📖

"And God, the source of all grace, who has called you in Christ to His eternal glory, will complete, strengthen, strengthen and establish you."

As followers of Christ, Christians or believers, we have seen how God's grace is given to us in abundance. This phrase leads us to our reflection today, namely "God is the source of all grace." The true and living God has all grace and He wants to give that grace to build our lives. One of the purposes of grace is for us to can abide forever in His glorious presence, "Who called you in Christ to His eternal glory." This blessing becomes ours through His saving work on the cross as our intercessor. “Therefore He is the Mediator of a new covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, for He died to atone for the transgressions committed during the first covenant” (Hebrews 9:15). While we wait for His second coming, He wants to build our lives spiritually to prepare us for our life on this earth.

One part of His plan is to perfect our lives. "God, the source of all grace... completes... you." This means that God completes what is lacking and prepares us for service. "Then the God of peace... may equip you with all good things to do His will" (Hebrews 13: 20-21). 4:11-12).

Another part of His plan is to edify us. "And God, the source of all grace... strengthens... you." This means that God makes our journey unshakable and continues to move forward according to His guidance in our lives. This expression is used to explain the firmness of Jesus when He had to face death, resurrection and His ascension.*"When the time had almost come for Jesus to be taken up into heaven, He set His sights on going up to Jerusalem” (Luke 9:51).

Another part of His plan is to strengthen our lives. “And God, the source of all grace… strengthens… you.” Our calling to serve God requires strength that we do not have alone. The Lord wants to teach us to use His powerful strength: “I pray that He, according to the riches of His glory , strengthening and confirming you through his Spirit within you” (Ephesians 3:16).

The next part of His plan is to establish us. “And God, the source of all grace… establishes… you.” This means to be more and more embedded in Him: “So that by your faith… you are rooted and founded in love” (Ephesians 3:17).
